The Big Ten Network has not gone over too well. Comcast has decided not to include it in its extended basic package. This a reasonable move given that the Network will carry third rate football games and fourth rate Big Ten University produced content that will appeal to very few viewers. But Penn State isn't taking this lying down. They've brought out their secret weapons. An army of NittanyBots, i.e. alumni, are being directed to pressure cable and satellite companies. Here is an email to the NittanyBots , forwarded to me by a reader, from Roger Williams, Executive Director, Penn State Alumni Association, with instructions to act.
