Kudos to Me

This blog has received some positive attention in the past few weeks. First Michael Polyak of Truth in our House recommend Left of Centre to his readers. Then came the following recommendation from Stanley at Keystone Politics.

Left of Centre is a great blog covering central PA politics and beyond. It's got very intelligent commentary and I'm excited about the addition to the PA blogosphere!

I keep saying it's new, but it's been going since last it's just new to me. Truth in Our House was kind enough to point it out.

I would like to thank both of them for sending people my way. These two blogs are great for keeping up with the goings on in Harrisburg. You can find links to their blogs in my blog roll under Blogs From Around the State.

Left of Centre has also received some national attention. My post on the prescription drug database was highlighted a week ago Friday by Steve Benen in Salon's blog report. Then this week Margaret Soltan at University Diaries found a post from this March on "Student-Centered Universities" amusing. As a result of both of these recommendations my unique page loads soared. If you are interested in academic politics be sure to read University Diaries. You can find a link under From the Academy. And I can't think of a better place to read about national politics than the Carpetbagger Report which is written by Steve Benen. It is listed under Recommended Blogs.

I am very happy about all of this attention. But what would make me happier is if the people who stopped by here on a regular basis, such as the folks at the Collegian, would start commenting. Blogging is not supposed to be a monologue; it is supposed to be a conversation. Please join the conversation.
