This morning's Collegian gave me a WTF moment.

His wife, who works as an usher for the State College Spikes, told him about an unusual job opportunity: to become the Nookie Monster.

If you haven't been to a State College Spikes game, head to youtube.com right now and type in "nookie monster" to see what I'm talking about. The mascot, which made its first appearance last season, lives in a "nook" behind the outfield wall of Medlar Field. When the Spikes score a run, the Nookie Monster pops out of a door in the wall and dances for a moment. Then he scurries back into his lair.
